Dear Parent(s):

As I may have already noted to you, a teaching/therapy group will be offered to parents of children being seen in my practice. It meets from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on alternating Tuesdays beginning in January as noted below. Each session is composed of about one hour didactic presentation followed by an hour of discussion among the participants.

This program features the presentation of college level child developmental psychology from a combination of behavioral and developmental perspectives. The text for the course is my book, The Dynamics of Powerful Parenting; each parent, or set of parents, will receive a digital copy of the book.

Your attendance and attention to the material contained within these few hours could very well change the direction and quality of your family’s life.

This teaching group is an extremely helpful resource for making changes in your approach to parenting. It will provide you with the information and skills that are essential for transforming your current situation within your family. Regular attendance on the part of both parents is a must in that the material flows from one session to the next with little time given for review. It is important that you make your attendance in this program a priority.

The maximum out-of-pocket cost for the group will be 40 USD per family per session (200 USD total) and 20 USD per individual (100 total). Various insurance plans will be accepted in that the discussion portion of the session will be conducted as group therapy.

The schedule for the group is as follows; please enter into your calendar:

January 16 … 6 – 8 PM
January 30 … 6 – 8 PM
February 6 … 6 – 8 PM
February 20 … 6 – 8 PM
March 6 … 6 – 8 PM

To my knowledge, no other therapist nor agency in the Dayton area offers this level of intervention for addressing emotional and behavioral issues within the family. Regular attendance and devotion to mastery of the material will improve your understanding of role you can play in providing a more positive direction for your family’s future.

Please bring a notebook and something to write with. All material that is available from RGM will be provided in electronic form.

Video and audio recordings of educational material will be permitted; however, public distribution (internet) is prohibited. The discussion portion of the meetings will be considered confidential and cannot be recorded.
